Solomon Squirrel and the Quest for the Golden Acorn
As a second project for an introductory-level interactive media class at Bradley University, I created a game over the course of 5 weeks. This game was created in a game design program called GameSalad and published to the GameSalad arcade.
Solomon Squirrel is an 8-bit styled game in the likeness of Frogger. The player controls the squirrel adventurer and must navigate several levels of an ancient temple filled with spikes, pits, lasers, and more.
I created nearly all of the art assets for this game, composed my own sound and music, coded the game, and designed the levels and user interface. Despite having to put in heavy hours to complete this game in time, I am proud of what I accomplished with this game, and I received recognition from the department for my efforts.
